Super 8 Trailer

I probably made fun of this in the past, but it actually looks kind of great. I've been watching a lot of old sci-fi kids movies lately, and this actually looks like a return to that kind of style, in the vain of The Explorers, or Flight of the Navigator. Dare I say I'm excited for a J.J. Abrams film? What do you think?

    I've been excited for this film since the first cryptic teaser. I'm slightly biased (I am an Abrams fan through and through), but i feel - like you posted - this definitely seems to have a cool call-back style going for it.

    Yes, everything he's ever written or produced is garbage but I think when he directs he's pretty great. Mission Impossible 3 is a pretty awesome action movie and Star Trek is a great sci-fi movie for people (like myself) who don't give a fart about Star Trek. And I agree, Super 8 looks very good.

    Yes, Bones, Mission Impossible 3 was actually pretty fun, and Star Trek too had some great parts, but I don't understand how everybody could look past that cheeseball villain. Embarrassing.
