FF #1 explains what the Future Foundation is. What it stands for, its goals and who the members of the foundation are, including its newest member, Marvel’s favorite wall-crawler, Spider-Man. Aside from that, the issue brings back and long forgotten villain thought to have been eradicated.

Finally the culmination of Jonathan Hickman’s arc of Fantastic Four has reached its pinnacle with the release of FF #1. The answers that Fantastic Four fans have been waiting for are finally going to be explained and it all starts here in this issue, and it begins with a heartfelt goodbye from theHuman Torch himself that was recorded prior to his death.

Follow Up Review: X-Men #7

It seems like yesterday I was writing the review for the first issue of the new X-Men series written by Victor Gischler, and here we are, one arc down and already on issue number seven.

The series just wrapped up its six issue Curse of the Mutants arc, and now the X-Men are starting to gain popularity in the San Francisco area, beginning to be commonly referred to as San Francisco’s X-Men; kind of like how New York has the Avengers. Many of the X-Men are enjoying helping the people of San Francisco with their day-to-day problems, whether it be a house burning down, a robbery, or even a cat stuck in a tree, while others feel as though their powers and abilities could be put to better use.

In this issue a handful of the X-Men are sent to New York City to investigate an issue that is “too small for the Avengers, but too big for local law enforcement”. This group of X-Men find themselves in the NYC sewer system searching for the source of the problem.

Sheer Happiness, a Kid in a Candy Shop

I was lucky enough to attend NYCC a few weeks ago while working for my new Comic Shop. I did many fun things, but the highlight of my weekend was the fact that I bought my first piece of original art, from none other than Amazing Spider-Man Artist Paolo Rivera. I think it is a fitting first buy, and I am excited to embark on my new, exciting, and expensive collecting adventure. The sheer joy that filled me when I got it though was worth every penny, and the time that I got to spending talking with Paolo about Spider-Man, art styles/different artists, and just everyday stuff was priceless. I cannot wait to feel that happiness again, hopefully again with Paolo, as well as many other artists.

O.M.I.T.: One Moment In Time

It was announced that the oh-so-interesting O.M.I.T. teaser pages that have been filling Marvel books in the past few weeks now have some meaning!

The "One Moment In Time" storyline, flowing through upcoming Amazing Spider-Man issues 637-640, centers around the wedding that never happened.

Yes, we will finally find out what happened when Peter and Mary Jane were all set to walk the green mile aisle. This thrilling tale will now completely rub out the events of Amazing Spider-Man Annual #21

So what do we think? Does Mary Jane reveal that she was boffing another dude? Perhaps Joe Q.? Does Peter find himself scrapping with a ruinous villain such as the Octopus man or Rhino guy? Or perhaps he is struck by some 11th hour brown runs.
